What is custom machine building?

Sometimes the machine you are looking for simply does not exist. Or a standard machine does almost what you want, but not quite. Then we design and build a machine or construction that fits your task, your crop and your business exactly. The goal is always the same: working faster, better, easier and smarter.

From first idea to commissioning

It starts with a conversation about what the machine needs to do. We then make the design and build the machine in our own workshop in IJzendoorn. We test it and commission it at your site. After delivery you can also come to us for service and maintenance. Everything is done in-house, by experienced staff with a passion for technology.

Building new or adapting existing

A custom machine does not always have to be completely new. Examples of new machines:

The potting compost filling wagon for a tree grower: a track-following trailer of 5 m³ that spreads potting compost into the gutters with a floor chain and conveyor belt.
The tree transport trailer with relocated wheels, so the platform can be lowered for easier loading.
The quick coupler with levelling blade, laser-controlled, for levelling rubble and sand tracks.

We can also adapt an existing machine. For a contractor we converted a standard weeding harrow with a hydraulically lifting wheel set and a seeding unit. We fitted a seeding unit on an existing rotary harrow. And we converted an aerial work platform to electric, with new traction batteries and an AC motor.

What does a custom machine cost?

That depends on the size and complexity of the machine. After a first conversation we know what is needed, and we make a quote.

How long does it take to build a custom machine?

That also depends on the machine. Adapting an existing machine is quicker than a completely new design. In the first conversation we give an indication of the planning.

Can you adapt or convert an existing machine?

Yes. For example, we converted a standard weeding harrow with a lifting wheel set and a seeding unit, fitted a seeding unit on an existing rotary harrow and converted an aerial work platform to electric.

What do I need for the first conversation?

A description of the task the machine needs to do. Photos, dimensions and the type of tractor or implement also help. Do you not have the full picture yet? No problem, we will work it out together.

Who makes the design?

We do. We take care of the design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning of your machine, all in-house.

Where is the machine built?

In our own workshop in IJzendoorn.

Can a machine be made electric?

We did this for an aerial work platform, with new traction batteries and a modern AC motor with a controller. Aerial work platforms with a diesel engine can also be converted to an electric version. Whether it is possible for your machine, we are happy to look at together.

Do you also provide service and maintenance?

Yes. After delivery you can also come to us for service and maintenance.

Do you also build for customers outside the Netherlands?

Yes. We design, build, supply and maintain machines for customers throughout Europe.
