ODV Techniek is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. This page explains which data that is, what we do with it and which cookies the website uses.
What data we process
We process the data you enter yourself in one of the forms on the website:
- Make an appointment: name, company name, email address and phone number.
- Download brochure: name and email address. We send the brochure to that address.
- Contact form: name, company name, email address, phone number and your message.
When you submit a form, we also store your IP address. This helps us detect spam and abuse.
We use this data to answer your question, schedule an appointment with you or send you the brochure. We do this because you ask us to.
Retention period
We do not keep your data longer than necessary. We keep form submissions for 2 years after the last contact. Data we are legally required to keep, such as quotes and invoices, is kept for 7 years.
Sharing with others
We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to run the website, such as our hosting provider, or when the law requires us to. What Google processes through cookies is explained below.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. On your first visit we ask whether you accept cookies. Without your consent we only place the functional cookies listed below.
Functional cookies
These cookies are needed for the website to work properly. They do not require consent.
- cookiemessage: remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies. Retention: 1 year.
- footer_popup: remembers that you closed the vacancy message. This cookie is removed when you close your browser.
- wp-wpml_current_language: remembers whether you are viewing the Dutch or English version of the site. Retention: 1 day.
Statistics: Google Analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure how many visitors the site has and which pages they view. Google Analytics places the cookies _ga and _ga_VV1E8JT3JT for this. They are kept for up to 2 years. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.
Google may process this data on servers outside the European Union, including in the United States. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this.
Google Maps and YouTube
The contact page shows a Google Maps map and several pages contain YouTube videos. These only load when you accept cookies or click the map or video yourself. At that point Google and YouTube may place cookies and collect data about your visit. Videos are loaded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings. This link is also at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you. You can also object to its use. Send your request to info@odvtechniek.nl. We will respond within four weeks.
Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
We protect your data against misuse, loss and unauthorised access. The website uses an SSL certificate, so what you enter is sent encrypted. Do you think your data is not properly secured, or do you see signs of misuse? Please contact us.
